Kiji, little barn for two in the heart of Treen
Kiji, traditional stone barn conversion, lies in the heart of the unspoiled rural village of Treen. The conversion of the detached barn was completed in 2012 to a very high standard.
It consists of a single storey room with a sofa double bed and a bathroom with electric shower, sink and toilette. No kitchen facilities. Locally sourced Delabole slate is combined with underfloor heating throughout. A big window and conservation skylight provide plenty of light and cosy atmosphere. Off street parking for one car.
Kiji is available as an additional accommodation for up to 2 guests when rented along Bleujenn or Gwennel barn.
Originally the little barn was the washouse of the farm complex. Completed restored now, you can still see the iron wash pot outside.
Treen is a much sought after location both for local families and as a holiday destination due to its close proximity to the fabulous beaches Pednvounder and Porthcurno, the South West Coastal Path, as well as the Minack open air theatre and a great local pub the Logan Rock Inn.
