RUBBISH AND RECYCLING:
Waste bins are located on the left side of the parking area. There are three red bins at your disposal: one bin for glass; one for ‘General Waste’ and a Recycling bin, that can be used for:
Paper recycling – e.g. dry paper waste, newspapers, cardboard, cereal boxes and card
Metal cans – e.g. clean, empty drinks cans and food tins
Plastic – e.g. packaging films, empty drinks bottles, rinsed out milk bottles, clean salad trays, rinsed out microwaveable meal trays & tubs (please clean the plastics before disposing and put anything else in the general waste bin)
OUTDOORS
Parking: the gravelled parking area is dedicated to guests staying in Bleujenn Barn and Glencoe Farm. Please park in the assigned spaces, no other cars other than guests staying at Logan Rock holidays cottages are allowed without previous consent from the owners.
Wetsuits: please do not rinse the sand indoors, it blocks the shower. If you need a bucket with water please call to Glencoe to use our outdoor tap.
Facilities are only for the guests staying in Kiji
ELECTRICAL EQUIPEMENTS: please DO NOT switch off the internet hub as it serves the 3 holidays barns.
The underfloor heating is electrical, set on 19 degrees, please let us know if you would like a different setting. Remember to switch it off when you leave, thank you!
When using the shower please operate the extractor fan.
The shower is electrical and the switch is outside on the left of the door. Be aware that the water starts pretty hot, then it adjust the temperature.
Please respect the privacy and quiet of all the guests staying in the Logan Rock Holiday lets: no loud noises or ball games are allowed.
Please remember to switch off the external lights during the night.
If you do not like bright light in the morning, we suggest to place the cushion on the small skylight
Safety measures
WOOD STOVE: DO NOT light the stove as it is not working and there is risk of smoke leak
There is a well on the property, where the pump is.
Kiji is a non smoking property. Pets are not allowed inside.
ELECTRICAL equipments: all our electrical appliances are subject to yearly PAT test, for insurance reason no deep fat fryer or other cooking tools (owned by guests) are allowed.
FIRE BLANKET and torch: on the bookshelf
No candles or any other open flames are allowed inside.
Groceries: nearest supermarkets are located in Penzance. In St Buryan (2 miles from here) a well stocked Londis can be found. From Easter to October Treen Campsite has a shop available to non residents.
CHECK OUT:
Switch off the lights
Switch off the underfloor heating.
Open the bedroom window (weather permitting 🙂 and lock the door.
Put the key in the green letter box (it’s on the wood panel next to the pump)
Leave the property clean and tidy and take out the rubbish
Check you have all your belongings
Any problem/damage or breakage, please let us know, so we can fix it for the next guest
Vacate the property by 10 am
