Bleujenn Barn

Self catering holiday let for 4 people

A detached barn conversion, Bleujenn was completed in April 2012, in line with the traditional character of Cornish cottages. The high standard self catering accomodation provides a home from home in the sought after area

Locally sourced Delabole slate flooring slabs combined with underfloor heating throughout create a warm ambience for guests no matter the season.

The spacious living area of about 30sqmts includes a split level kitchen-diner and lounge area. The fully equipped kitchen has a Belfast sink and oak wooden worktop. The ceramic tiles are hand made with beautiful design of fruit and vegetable. Dishwasher, microwave, and combined washing/dryer are provided. In the lounge there is a television, DVD/BluRay player and cables to connect an iPad. A comfortable sofa and two stylish armchairs are there to relax.

Stairs take to the master bedroom with a king size bed, oak wooden floor with underfloor heating; the conservation skylights provide plenty of light and an exquisite atmosphere. The access to the en suite bathroom is private to this room. This bathroom has an enclosed shower and plenty of light through the skylight. The seaside motives are represented in hand-made beautiful ceramic tiles.

On the ground floor the family bedroom has big windows, double bed and a wardrobe.

The family bathroom has a shower over the bath, a bidet, sink and WC. The ceramic tiles display seaside scenes, reminding of the beautiful beaches just a walk away.

Outside is a separate garden area for BBQ with a picnic table or just to relax.

Private parking.

Additional accommodation can be provided on request.

Bleujenn Barn was one of the outbuildings of the former farm. Originally it was used for preparing flowers for market (hence the name Bleujenn which means flower in Cornish), and as storage for agricultural tools. It was a dilapidated building with the roof falling down before 2011, when the conversion project was started. The work was carried out by local craftsmen that ensured the keeping with the original features adding modern comfort.

Beautiful cottage with fantastic facilities. Lovely hosts always at hand when needed. Logan Rock Inn a perfect pub/restaurant – food stunning and we made a good use of it – Anita a star!! We hope to come back at some point. Thanks.
